We ask that items are donated only during our hours of operation.

Thanks for shopping, donating, and supporting Little City Thrift Store.

We are grateful.

First, thank you for considering donating your items to Little City Thrift Store. We would not exist without the generosity and donations from our local community. We know you have many choices about where to donate.

We ask that all donations be CLEAN and in GOOD condition.

We accept the following items:

Clothing for men, women, and children

Housewares, linens, knickknacks, dishware

Books welcomed, but no encyclopedias or dated materials

Jewelry, Yes! Always welcomed and sought after by our customers

Accessories are needed. We love purses, ties, scarves, hats, gloves, belts, and shoes

DVDs, CDs and also VHS

Puzzles and games

Furniture is considered always but smaller pieces only. Please call ahead as we can only take these items as space allows. Items we usually can accommodate are coffee tables, chairs, end tables, and bookshelves.

What we cannot take:

Computers, televisions, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, and electronics in general—our space is too small and we must pay to have these items discarded taking away from our ability to make our monthly donations.

Household items that are mismatched, broken, or not in working order—to repeat, these items will have to be discarded and we must pay for that service.

Big and bulky children’s toys--we do not have room to house them. We have welcomed unique toys, puzzles, and handmade items. If it isn’t small, in good repair, or unique, we simply cannot sell it.

Car seats, bicycle helmets, children’s furniture in general (highchairs etc).

If you are in doubt about an item please call in advance, our policies are meant to make the store better and more inviting, maximize the space we have, and to make your shopping experience a fun one. There are always exceptions based on time of year, space, and the quality of the item.
